In recent weeks, I have received many requests regarding 1914-15 Stars issues to Non-South African Forces for WW1, therefore I have decided to publish an article on these medals. I have many such examples in my own collection but I would like to compare more. If you have and WW1 medals, for East African, Rhodesian, Northern Rhodesia and Nyasaland which you believe may have been issues from South Africa please send me a message so I may include them in the article.
Note the star that is shown was named and issued in South Africa by the Royal Mint in Pretoria.
